The MODsquad Blog exists to encourage and inspire moms to raise daughters with purity, character, and hearts for God.
We hope to do this through engaging posts that speak to your heart, by sharing resources we find to help you as a mom raising daughters, praying together for our girls, and connecting as a community.

Teri Lynne is just a girl … wife to an amazing man, mother of a beautiful daughter, and follower of the Risen Lord. In between laundry, volunteering at the crisis pregnancy center, and watching the world go by, she writes at Pleasing to You about everything from lessons learned from moldy shower curtains to the beauty of knowing our identities rest in Christ. She’s learning lessons about giving up good things to live in God’s best and enjoys sharing the journey of life with friends – both inside and outside her computer. Recently Teri Lynne launched Scripture Dig, a collaborative website designed to encourage, equip, and empower women to dig deep into God’s Word.

Hi, I’m Melissa. After graduating college, I married my high school sweetheart, Charlie, and together we are raising two girls with a third child on the way. I’m blessed to stay home with our children and when they rest I write with Internationally known abstinence speaker, Pam Stenzel. Our first book together will be released in January, 2011. My joy comes through relationship with Christ, and because of His lavished love, I have eternal hope to share with my children and all around me. Life is rich.

Hi, I’m Shelly. I’m a mom to three teenage daughters and wife to my college sweetheart. I’m blessed beyond belief and trying to follow hard after God every day, step by step, wherever He leads. Right now He’s leading me to teach part-time, mentor junior high and college girls, and serve missionaries here on furlough. In my spare time I love to cook, read, write, travel, and walk my energetic yellow lab, Thunder. I’d love for you to follow my everyday adventures at Life on the Wild Side.

As a contributor here: At The Well
Email: melissaruncie@yahoo.com
Melissa has been a prodigal daughter and prodigal wife who knows God’s most extravagant gifts are His forgiveness and grace. She has been married to her husband for 8 years and after working more than a decade in the nonprofit, entertainment and music industry, she is slowly settling into being a full time stay at home mama of two daughters. Upon leaving her career, God began to do a new work and put a new song in her heart. Expressing inexpressible love for her Savior through writing stories, speaking to women or creating art is now the symphony of Melissa’s heart. Visit her at Madabella: made beautiful, an intersection of faith and art, for online bible studies, creative projects and stories of faith made beautiful as struggles are overcome and battles are won in Christ.
