I love my oldest daughter's determination. She can do anything she sets her mind to. I love her confidence in who she is and her strength as she walks through hard places. In my youngest daughter, I admire her laughter, the sparkle in her eyes, they way she pursues Him in worship. So thankful for my daughters!

I love that my daughter (5 year old) loves her family with such passion, especially her older and younger brothers. She is very expressive and will tell you exactly how she feels about everything. She is sweet and girly and loves all things pink, yet she is tough and outspoken. She is very determined and not easily persuaded (except by her brother). I pray that God uses all of her qualities to help her walk more closely with Him and to truly know Him.

Great idea, Aurie! They should always know that they are daughters of the Great King. We love Shelia Walsh's series: GiGi for this very reason! Thanks for commenting!

I love my daughter's compassion for other people and such a bold confidence in her relationship with God inside such a gentle spirited girl. She's not afraid to say what she believes and in a merciful way.

This is such a great idea, Stacey! I could brag on my girls all day. Thanks for giving me a space to do that today. :)

P.S. It's my youngest daughter's birthday today--how fun is that?! (She's 14--how did that happen?)

I love my daughters strength of will. At times it has brought me to tears but I love that about her! Love that she is funny and silly. I love that she's looks girly but loves tomboy things. She is a blessing and a gift. I thank God daily for this precious tiny, rapidly growing sweet girl! Thanks for giving me the chance to vent my love for her :)

As the momma of 2 very girly girls I totally get this! we have called our girls "princess" since they were babies. Now that they are older and ask why we call them "princess Sophie" and "Princess Bella" we explain that Jesus is King, and they are his blessed daughters - which makes them princesses. Right now, this makes sense to them :)

Thank you for being honest...in doing so you free other mothers to be as well. Not getting upset is something I struggle with too, particularly with my strong willed child. :) In fact, a line to my last personal blog post was dedicated to that. This post will touch many...
