31 Days of Prayer {Day 13} :: Never Forgotten

¹⁴ But Zion said, “The LORD has forsaken me,
And the Lord has forgotten me.”
¹⁵ “Can a woman forget her nursing child
And have no compassion on the son of her womb?
Even these may forget, but I will not forget you.
¹⁶ “Behold, I have inscribed you on the palms of My hands;
Your walls are continually before Me. Isaiah 49:14-16

Lord, I know that I am not a perfect mother, and that at times I will fail my daughters.  Lord, I know that they will feel forgotten, by those who love them, and by those who don’t.  Father, I pray that you would remind them of your great love for them.  Remind them of your constant remembrance of them, and how they are ever before you,as your beloved children!  Father, help them to see the depth of your love in that you have inscribed them on your palms, and that THEY ARE NOT EVER FORGOTTEN by their perfect Father.  Lord, I pray that when the world tells them how unimportant they are, that you would gently remind them of how very important they are to You, because you love them with the same love that you love Your Son with.
