31 Days of Praying for our Daughters :: An Invitation

Lord,

From the beginning, this space has been Yours. We wouldn’t think of starting anything like this without first inviting You.  You are welcome here, always.

Father, would you…

  • stir our hearts
  • give us your words
  • show us how to be relentless in asking for Your wisdom, blessing, and direction for our daughters.

May we be persistent like Sarah and Hannah.

May we be ready to lay down our very lives like Ruth.

May we serve our girls like Martha, but have tender hearts like Mary.

Above all, Lord, teach us to pray.  Thank you that we have the assurance that you always live to make intercession on our behalf and on behalf of our girls.

Lead us on Lord Jesus.

Wife to Mike. Mother to 4 vibrant girls. Believer. Communicator. Loves God's Word and connecting with women. Find her on Twitter @stacey29lincoln or at 29lincolnavenue.com

I’m in. This is a great need. I’ve been seeing the power of prayer at work through participating in Moms In Touch, so I am eager to join you in this journey specifically for my daughters. I’m sure it will enhance and influence the 31 Days of Mentoring Training Series I am writing as well. God, teach our minds and hearts how to pray and influence the next generation with you Truth!

    By His Grace,

I look forward to reading and praying along with you!! My 31 day topic is very similar! :) 31 Days of Prayer: for our children, with our children. Sounds like we are on the same page!! Prayer is so vital and I’m excited about what God is going to do in my heart over this period of intentional focus on prayer.

I am excited to join in on this. Our daughters are seniors and we have many decisions to make and can’t proceed without seeking the Lord in all our choices.

I am so excited to be joining you all this month. I have a beautiful three year old little girl who has been challenging me lately with her strong will and free spirit. I know with the Lord’s help I can guide her and nurture those qualities for His glory. Looking forward to reading and praying together!
